Irene has been a registered nurse for over 26 years. She worked as Director of Nursing for two facilities prior to joining the Grandvue nursing team in 1999. Irene has filled the roles of Neighborhood Nurse, Lifestyle Facilitator and Interim Assistant Director of Nursing at Grandvue. She has held Train-the-Trainer certification, is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and has a certification in MDS Assessment. Irene has continued her professional development through seminars and training in management, skin risk assessment, nutrition and psychotropic medication administration.
